20 under 20 w/ Blake Bishop: The Outsiders

New to the wake scene is a killer new site called The Outsiders.  With a diverse stance on Wake x Art x Music x Culture they are supplying some fresh air to this industry.  The site just launched on Monday and it already has a good amount of content that you need to check out.  The “Not Just Another Harley Interview” is a good one and he lets you in on some interesting events in his life thus far.  Another fun and fresh section is the 20 under 20 and it starts of with AmbushBoardCo team rider Blake Bishop…aka the future heartbreaker.  Definitely bookmark this site and stay up with core wake culture…you won’t be disappointed.

Sets In Motion – A Women’s Wake Film

Oakley’s game changing women’s wakeboard series, Sets In Motion, gives girls a unique platform in which to showcase their talent on the water. Now the pinnacle of the project, The Sets In Motion Movie, splices together the best action from the series plus a hefty dose of new wake footage. These are the girls that propelled women’s wakeboarding to where it is today. From the first 720 executed by a woman to the first mobe 540, it’s all here.

“I wanted to create a platform and a project for the girls that’s going to be timeless and online and for everyone to see forever. It was an idea, in a way, for me to push the girls and motivate them to progress their riding harder than what they’ve ever done in the past.” – Amber Wing Read More >

Sets In Motion, Episode 8 — Oakley Women

Bill McCaffray said it best, “Everyone wins when there are more girls out on the water.” With that in mind check out one this edit from one of the most progressive teams in women’s wakeboarding, the Oakley Women.  Highlights include Nicola Butler‘s Indy Scarecrows and Amber Wing’s Stalefish TS 720.  Yeah, girls.

Keith Lyman | Push Process Full Part

When this part from Oakley’s Push Process came out in 2008, it was the first time most of us saw a gap-to-rail behind the boat. Keith blew our minds and legendary wake videographer Justin Stephens captured it perfectly. Lucky for us the entire part is streaming on YouTube. It might not be there forever though, so press play already.

Oakley’s Day at Harley’s House

“The Oakley wake team spent the afternoon at team rider Harley Clifford‘s house riding and skating his newly installed mini ramp. The team has had a long busy summer on tour competing at all the King of Wake stops. Celebrating Harley’s overall Pro Tour Victory and Shota Tezuka’s Rookie of the year award, the team had some fun on and off the water.”
